The Show Must Go On
THE STORY
For Darcy Merrill and her production team, it's always thirty minutes to places at the Golden Gate Theatre, ‘the’ gay theatre company in San Francisco--which is saying something.
It’s a daily struggle of egos, dramas, romances, bad romances, walk outs, rewrites and the occasional request for a miracle. Sometimes people even break out into uncontrollable fits of singing and dancing.
And yet, no matter what, the show goes on.
Every night at 8 o'clock sharp.
Or 2, if it's a matinee.
Or 10 a.m., if it's the Children's Theatre.
Sometimes 7:30. Depending.
